Is it harmful to drink bleach?

A buddy of mine just said he spiked my drink earlier today with about a tablespoon of bleach, I feel fine though. Am I going to die?

At least it was diluted.
Had a buddy drink a cap or two full in college because he "heard" it would help him pass a drug test. He said it burned like fire. I considered it his penance.

You need to get a new buddy. Here is what happens when you drink bleach. TL;DR, chugging a lot of it can kill you or mess you up pretty bad. A little bit might make you throw up, but probably won't do any permanent damage. LINK

4 drops per gallon will make contaminated water safe to drink but that's the most I've ever drank.

If it was that much, you would have tasted it. And it tastes bad.I had a bad aquarium cleaning experience. Poison control said you wouldn't drink enough to hurt yourself because of the taste.

When he's distracted, completely fill the bottom of his dishwasher with dishwashing liquid. Couple of cups of Dawn in that sucker will teach him about household product pranks with the lickety
