If you're talking about the amount of trash in the ditches on your way to the beach then La wins hands down.

Mississippi is trashiest. No nice areas.

Florida is a large mix of high end housing/attractions mixed with trash.

Our Governor seems to be just that, turning Florida into a Third World country, a modern day version of the plantation society based on cheap labor, non-existent healthcare, a docile, uneducated population and tax burdens entirely shifted from profitable corporations to a hard-strapped, diminishing middle class. His plan is working, too.

Late at night I approached a smoky group in the hotel parking lot to ask for a cigarette (trashy on my part), only to discover I had walked into a marriage proposal.

If we are honest with ourselves we are all rednecks to some varying degree.

But there are some folks in Central Florida that are just plain scary.

You hit the nail right on the head. Doesn't florida have a specific place like under a bridge or some beach that all convicted sex offenders live at? I'm pretty sure I read something about this a few years ago.
