How the hell has this gone five pages on the wrong board. FDB people.

First it was people selling crap on the OT today and now this. Either argue about racism and Walt Disney World or racism at Walt Disney World or post some boobies.

Damnit.

No. Honestly, I don't hear anyone hardly ever talk about it anymore and I still enjoy it.

Properly rated.

No matter what burger place you mention, people are gonna slam it. People just like to be critical. It just makes them somehow feel better about the wife who has put on 50 pounds and the job they hate.

5 Guys gives me the absolute worst heartburn ever. I don't blame them for it, clearly it is something wrong with me and how my body handles something in their food but it is the main reason I wont eat there. I think they put liquid smoke or something in the burgers, tends to set my heartburn off.

Overrated compared to what? I don't how others feel, as I haven't read 6 pages, but they have a good burger. I just get the small with a lot of toppings (ATW, no ketchup). Better than most any "Fast Food". Hardee's/Carl Jr may have something that could compare, I rarely eat there so I wouldn't know for sure.

I just wish they did ice cream (like a DQ). But if they did they wouldn't have the burger assembly line that's working like a NASCAR pit crew

And if you order fries you will have a grocery sack full. They are aight.

I will eat there when I'm wanting a decent burger quick and easy.

Edit. OT Ballers say 5 Guys is too high.

Hell it's only a cpl bucks more than the shite places like McDonalds or the avg FF places like BK (clean and good service in NW AL), Wendy's, Jack's, etc.

If the patties were well done, it's safe to say the location was in a poor area. The reason why the staff cooks the meat well done is so they don't have to deal with the unnecessary bullshite and complaints from a certain demographic.

5 Guys' corporate motto is the oxymoron, "juicy and well done".

The original fives guys was 20mins from where I grew up. Living in Northern VA you had about 4 or 5 of them with in a 5 mile drive of my house.

I had some the other day drunk as shite in London to eat on the train ride home. Missed that taste of home.

If you want some top tier burgers you need to go to Shake Shack..

There's one in Lafayette that sells shakes. . .

Not sure if they have plans to start doing this at every location though.

Then you better hope that you never want to eat at a restaurant called "Two girls and a Cup".
