Whole lot of nothing, spooky vibe, off the grid towns. Black Hawk Lounge = Prada Marfa IMHO

cool and fun LSU fans are from east of the Mississippi/new Orleans.

Annoying and stupid LSU fans are from west of the Mississippi, ending around Beaumont, Tx.

OP could have explained this a little better, but I'm pretty sure that by "East Louisiana" he means Concordia, Catahoula, Tensas, etc, parishes because of his citing Black Hawk.

As far as I am concerned everything east of the Miss River all the way to the Pacific can fall into a large sinkhole.

Wouldn't east of the Mississippi be all the way to the Atlantic?

That would be called a black-hole.

No - West Texas is booming with oil activity.

East Louisiana is booming in half price F350's and truck nuts

No, I wouldn't think so. Are we talking southeast or northeast?

That area is more like the Delta area of Mississippi than W. Texas.

West texas is deserts, plains and mountains.

Louisiana as a whole has no plains, deserts or mountains.

So no, they are nothing alike.
