Is codeine 30mg a valid prescription?

My cubemate tried to get this script filled for her husband yesterday. She said the pharmacist was really rude and said she couldn't do that or it didn't exist or something. She's mexican so sometimes doesn't understand stuff

Absolutely legit. And no, it's not the same as Tylenol #3 like some are saying. This is just for tabs that contain codeine and no acetaminophen. Here's a link to a page that lists it as a viable drug:
