Is boxing or martial arts a great way to get in shape?

I run and lift weight a few times a week. Just thinking this would take it to the next level and would learn a new skill in the process. Dont want to do it competitively or anything.

Only if you're already a fatass. I'll give you a pass on this micro-aggression because you don't understand the skinny struggle.
