He's the millennial's version of Mr Rogers.
He may be an engineer; but one things for sure, he NEVER took a course or graduated in climatology. The guy is a joke; and every secondary degree he has was GIVEN to him as an honorary status.

Which tells me that this science that has been "settled" is really just a scam. I also noticed how none of the Ivy League schools offer the program. Which is ironic.
Certainly you would want nothing but the brightest minds of the world working to save it, right?
If any of this was actually put under the scrutiny of the scientific method and scientific peers; it would be destroyed, debunked and become the biggest swindle ever made of our civilization.

Or how about you have climatology being a really really specific field of study.
And it is in a larger department.
So you graduate with a degree in earth sciences, or physical sciences.

I don't really know what you are trying to get at here.
You're knighting for a guy who got his break by winning a Steve Martin look a like contest.
I've taken 5 physics courses when I was in college. I've also taken 4 geologists. Yet, never saw the course for "climatology" in any of the catalogs.
My point being, while you still try to make one, is that IF this was such an important topic, and imperative Swift action is to be taken, surely, we would want the brightest minds of our times working on the problem and learning about it.
Yet, the AGW side merely has a washed out comedian who still applies to be a US astronaut every year, to do its bidding.
It's really kind of sad when you look at it. Or here Nye speak publicly on the issue.

I think he has a BS in mechanically Engineering from Cornell. Whether you think he is the climate messiah, an insufferable douchebag, or somewhere in between, engineering is an applied science so the answer to the OPs question is yes.
