I realize it is easy to sit back and laugh now, but I can actually see how it would be easy to make that mistake. Those cones are spread out wide. I can see where someone could think they could cut across to the turn lane.

You're right. They have cones on the right and on the medium, but I don't see on the left of the paved side. Those contractors did a shite job marking the site. I could see an average person making a mistake like that.
