I have the info you do, and uh, you're not supposed to be talking about that so keep it mum.

Government should be open about how it is planning on giving certain entities and potential competitors special treatment.

I am very glad to see that la has reversed the exodus of employers from the state...sounds like corporate america is finally getting past the political shennanigans of the old days...

there is actually a good bit of developement going on in a lot of the state...

FWIW, the current secretary of economic developement is an LSU guy from back when I was there...

Yup, Stephen Moret

He was the LSU Student Body Prez before graduating from LSU. He then went on to Harvard to obtain his MBA. While at Harvard, he was also elected co-Student Body Prez.

He's a very good leader & economic development in the state has vastly improved under his watch as Secretary

There are definentely the number of college grads in NOLA to bring in companies. If Lafayette,BR & NOLA grew big enough, I wonder how many folks would move back from Houston? I'm a well known Houston hater.

I actually didn't realize that...impressive! He received an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the same time as I did...

It's amazing how much of an impact a reduction in crime and an increase of business would have on New Orleans.

Still, there's so much more going on here now than in the past 2 or 3 decades.

If Moret would run for governor I'd vote for him. At the least I hope he and a new governor agree for him to stay where he is.
