I have an interview late tomorrow morning. I am currently employed and will be attending work tomorrow. Do I just go to the interview in my button down and slacks that I am wearing to work tomorrow or do I change into my suit in my vehicle in the parking lot?

You could go to work after the interview instead of before and after OR

Put your coat and tie on after leaving work while on your way to the interview.

Just tell your current employer that you have a funeral to attend

Don't wear a suit, it comes off as desperate.

Also, take those truck nuts off your receiver hitch - they will look to see what you drive.

This. Just wear a button down, slacks, and a blazer.

Don't overthink this, champ.

I was later told I got my current job because I was the only one who wore a suit to the interview. True story.

Your competition is likely shite. Don't stink too.

Sounds like a pretty tight job.

What line of work are you in?

Unless it's for a WalMart cashier, wear a suit.

But don't wear it to work first. Ideally, wear a dress shirt and suit slacks to work, and just throw on tie and jacket in car.

This is where a solid black suit comes in handy. The pants look like any other black slacks.

Black suits are for formal events, aren't they? Just wear the navy, or the charcoal pants, and throw the jacket on later.

Normally, but this up and comer is trying too hard to impress. It's the equivalent of wearing a tux on a first date. Just sad really....
