Jesus fricking christ.
I literally screamed that out, too. Oh my god, that thing was massive, also it really starts at about the 4 minute mark.

Prudent and Salient comment here....
A cyst that big, you can bet your arse that I'm having the professionals take care of it with either a goddamn neurosurgeon or at least plastic surgeon.

I'm an ER doc and this video is horrifying. Some monkey wearing gardening gloves butchering a guy's face with unsterile hardware. A goddamn razor blade, for Christ sake. The hole he made with it looks like a a rat bite. If there were any bacteria inside that thing, right now they're having a party inside the guy's frontal lobe after amateur surgeon blasted them into the venous circulation with his cyst compression maneuver.

I've had it lanced twice already. The second time they left a hole open so it could drain instead of filling up. Its not very painful now but it drains constantly. I have to keep folded up toilet paper over it at all times, like a maxi, or it leaks thru my pants. Just last week I had to leave work early because I looked like a girl that wasn't ready for her period to star
How is this better than packing it with gauze for six weeks and being done with it for good? Just do the surgery already.

Oh and she didn't completely remove the cyst sack, cutting it off at the end. That will come back. Should have plucked it out then washed out the cavity with antiseptic and put packing in it.

holy hell i'm worn out from watching that. he had to have had some sort of local anesthetic right?
They probably did a maxillary nerve block. This can be done through the mouth, as in the pic below, or through the skin of the cheek.

Esp if it's on my damn face.
But that guy looked like he was higher than eagle pussy so I doubt he gave a single frick at the time.
I hope that bitch was wearing some type of eye protection and if she ever bitches about getting a load shot in her hair he should show her this video and remind her she's had far worse.

I had one several years ago from a spider bite. Decided to go into the ER to get it taken care of and I was in and out within 10 minutes I think. Nurse came in, numbed it, lanced it and then popped it. I remember seeing a string of pus fly like 10 feet in the air.

The cyst is going to grow back and he'll be dealing with this shite again soon. And who knows if he'll be dealing with dangerous bacteria in places it shouldn't be the way the GF was pushing the cyst everywhere.

They didn't use anesthesia
Also, they got the whole sack but didn't include all of that in the video.

You sure that wasn't an abscess from a miss?
Actually had smashed my and at the pool or something then the bruising and hurting went down in a few days and then the little cyst just starts to pop up....
The few nights after each slicing open and cleaning trying to sleep the thing was throbbing and hurting soooooo damn bad. If I just barely moved any digit on my hand the pain just shot up my arm. Crazy bad hurt.. I didn't get a wink of sleep.
At the time I was in recovery and I couldn't/wouldn't take a single perc either but doubt they would have helped even a little bit.

Didn't watch, but one time I had a cyst in my eyebrow, not nearly that big, but pretty big. I popped it thyself. What came out, in order:
clear liquid
blood and pus, explosively
waxy material the consistency of toothpaste
finally, a hard core about the size of a black eyed pea.

Mine was an abscess.
The way you describe yourself after you popped it is simulator how mine felt before itbwas popped/drained. But not as bad as yours sounds, although headed in that direction if I had waited.
You could feel the heat in it and was all red and swollen and getting bigger and redder by the day.
It would throb when I held my arm down to my side/below my heart, but all that was just minor. And I had her lance it before it got too big because I knew it was infected based on the heat, swelling and throbbing and wasn't just going to go away. Plus chicks get off on shite like that/popping zits/etc.
I learned to be more careful after that (although Ive always been anal/a germophobe since I got older. I did not want to end up with Staph or some shite.
If I remember in the morning...or later in this morning and feel like it, I will download the photo bucket app on this phone and load/post the pics. Which as I said before, they aren't anything compared to the video in the OP or some of the other cysts described ITT.
Im calling it a night after this wall if text.

Been there done that. Be prepared not to do anything for a while. Sleeping and sitting are a bitch. Hope you have a good doctor.
How do I know if I have a good doctor or not?
I met with the surgeon, and he was very short with me. Was like "yeah I'll take it out for you if you want. But the recovery period sucks. And sometimes they get infected again."
Which doesn't seem too far from what I've read everywhere else

Would it be better to leave it open
Depends on how he makes the incision. There is a way to do it that relieved stress on the area so it can heal properly.

You got yours removed completely right? How was the recovery process?
Yea. I had to lay on my stomach or side for a week. Had a drain put in since mine was stitched closed. That's done so you don't get a hematoma. I couldn't work out for a month after and I still have some numbness in my cheek. But I can Actually sit without pain so I'm glad I got it done.

I still have a hole in my back from a cebaceous cyst removal. It fills up with a several drops of water in the shower. If I forget to dry it thoroughly with a towel, I'll reach back at work and feel a wet spot on my shirt.
