They're $4.58 at WM or $2.58 for the store brand. Blame yourself. Some stores.know they can charge more because their customers are willing to blindly pay premium prices. Be more price conscious and willing to put things down and walk away or quit blaming inflation for the fact youre paying 30% above market price.

I can't sit down somewhere with the wife, have some decent food (not white table cloth, but not burgers), and a couple of beers without it approaching $100 with a tip. It's insane.

over the same time last year, which was a much higher percentage over the same time the year before, which was much higher than the same time the year before that.

3.7 isn’t some kind of cumulative inflation metric.

Was going to order Newks for my family last night and pick up on the way home from work. For 2 full sandwich/soup combos, a salad, and a kids pizza the order was going to be over $60. I got my wife the food she asked for and my daughter and I had PB&J sandwiches at home Spending that much money at a sandwich shop seems criminal.

Spent $98 + $20 tip at Purple Cow yesterday.
1 hamburger
1 cup chili 1 tuba salad sandwich
1 order mozzarella sticks with onion rings
1grilled cheese with onion rings
4 cokes/drinks
3 dairy deserts ( I hate desert)

Not bad, imho.
