In honor of Graduation season....... Imagine

If high school graduations called up students in GPA order rather than Alphabetically.
My evil thought for the day.
Or. Perhaps make everyone take the SAT and call them up in SAT order.
You could cite their GPA as their name was called.
Basically. The reverse of safe spaces and self esteem coddling.

They always ask you to hold your applause until the end. If they did it this way, 99% of the screaming and applause would definitely be at the end.

My favorite professor used to give exams back by grade in descending order. I was not a 4.0 student by any means, but it did give a little extra motivation (and some bragging rights).

My high school basically did that. 4.0 first, then 3.5-3.99, 3.0-3.49, the rest

lol yeah that'll show 'em, because we all know high school GPAs are such a great indicator of future success. It's not like there are a slew of miilionaires out there who barely graduated, dropped out or had some type of learning disability (dyslexia comes to mind).
I graduated with a 2.0. It was literally the lowest GPA you could have and still get your diploma. I'm going to make $150k this year. GPAs are the quintessential moral victory to so many people who never amount to anything. To bad you can't deposit a 4.0 GPA into a bank account
