Canes talks about marinating their chicken for 24hrs or whatever. I don't know what they marinate it in b/c it has no flavor whatsoever.
There are little packets that come from the warehouse that you dump in cold water and marinate the chicken in it. It is a salt/MSG mixture. Dead serious. There is also MSG in the batter seasoning.

Chick-fil-A > Canes all day though
They remind of each other in terms of customer service. Chick-fil-A has really good chicken, etc., but my only issue with them is that I'm sometimes still hungry after I eat one of their meals and they're more expensive than the rest (better food quality, but the portion size could be a little better).

If they really wanted good chicken they should run it through a macerator first and then soak it in a creole butter marinade.

It wasnt always pre mixed. We used to have 2 huge garbage cans filled with msg and salt. It was marinated for 24 hours in the mixture.
As for the price it is comparable with most fast food joints and you get multiple items. I dont see the problem there.

I recommend they season their chicken. With anything, I don't care what.

No slaw, extra sauce, and add a honey mustard for the fries.
pro tip: the honey mustard is made in house as well and its really good.

The best thing about Chick-Fil-A is their eponymous sauce. The tenders taste more and more like salt to me. The waffle fries were never good. Canes >>> Chick-Fil-A. I don't even find Canes tenders that bland. I've heard Walmart tenders get praise on this board, and those things are fricking flavorless. Same thing for Albertsons, which look good, but have no discernible flavor. I'd take Canes over Popeyes as well, as I find the latter's bone-in chicken so far superior to their tenders I really don't get the point of the tenders. I could say the same for Albertsons, whose fried chicken is very good when fresh.

Box combo, replace the slaw with an extra toast, then add an extra sauce
Put three tenders on one piece of toast, cover it with one of the sauces, then put the other toast on top.
You then have a sandwich on toast, but unlike the sandwich combo, you have an extra sauce and an extra chicken finger. They also don't short you on fries like they do for the sandwich combo.
You're welcome.

Yeah, but you don't get the piece of lettuce which transforms it into a healthy meal.

Popeyes basically offers chicken tenders because other places do. But if I'm going to Popeyes, I'm getting the real chicken.
I love the Canes combo, but their chicken doesn't have a lot of flavor. And it's fine because that's what the special sauce is for. That's all the flavor anyone needs (unless they don't like the sauce).
I usually get the chicken sandwich at Chik-fil-A which is good. The nuggets are too small to me. I like the waffle fries fine, but maybe that's just me.

The chicken is marinated in MSG.

And lots of it. 24 hours in a huge MSG pool. It's absurd how much MSG Cane's uses. But damn it's good.

If you normally get the 3 finger combo you could order a sandwich combo on toast with no lettuce and sauce on the side. You now have the 3 finger combo, formerly the snack, with an extra toast.

Just go to Popeyes and order a 4-Pc white meat, spicy with red beans. That should fill you fat asses up. The grease alone will fill you up.
That's where you're wrong, kiddo.

Y'all should just make your own sauce. It isn't difficult

I enjoy making my own sauce.

Yea, you can pretty much order whatever you can come up with at Canes and they will usually make it happen. Because they have good management and care about customer service. I have seen people order double battered chicken, fries with no salt etc. Also if you are in the store with your lady and you hear someone in the kitchen yell "Ticket in the Window!!" the whole back of the house is checking out your lady including management. Lol

Box, no slaw, extra toast FTW

Let's talk about spaghettios next
Got Dammit
An old roommate of mine used to take a can of spaghettios, add in onions and ground meat, and heat it up on the stove and eat it.
Of course, he's now in jail for looking at nekkid pics of kids, so it's possible one causes the other.
