Box Combo = 4 fingers. You get 1 sauce. So, for each tender, it gets 25% of the allotted sauce.

Caniac Combo = 6 fingers. You get 2 sauces. That's 33% of the given sauce per tender.

Can you rework this for the normal people who also dip their fries and toast in the sauce too?

Zaxby's

I can't say what Canes marinates chicken in, but I can verify 100% that Zaxby's marinates their chicken in salt.

I think it's stupid that they think the sauce is worth extra money

The sauce is only worth extra money because the marketplace is willing to pay for it. If the market, as a whole, stopped paying for it, it would become free.

And Zaxby's does charge you for the sauce. They just blend the cost in with the balance of the menu items. So does the gas station. So when you pay $2.29 for the chicken tenders they cooked 3 days ago, you are covering the cost of the Kraft BBQ sauce you get with it.

You could have said I paid for the napkins too, as well as the urinal cakes.

When I ask for an extra sauce at these places, I don't get charged extra for it like at Canes.

If Canes (which is pretty mild food) gives you diarrhea, don't step foot in Popeyes.

Did you just come out of the closet in one of the most subtle ways ever?

My ex worked at canes. There's a few things I didn't know.
You can order your fingers and fries extra crispy
Your toast with extra butter or get it extra toasted
They have different sauces other than canes sauce too. I always got the honey mustard.

Chick-fil-A > Canes all day though

Honey mustard is the grossest mustard. I don't know why so many people like it

Also for the nickel squeezers here, the sandwich is the best bang for buck and you can go back and demand more sauce on the sandwich without getting charged extra for it.

Bailey's Chicken Fingers had all of these beat. Does anyone remember Bailey's on Highland and Lee across from where the 2nd Raising Canes was built?

Bailey's and Canes opened like a week apart from each other and had the same box with toast, slaw and even the special sauce. Bailey's had steak fries, their chicken was a little thicker and their texas toast was like sandwich bread, but other than that they offered the same stuff. It was like "Coming to America" with McDowell's and McDonald's. When Cane's finally decided to open their 2nd location, they opened it right across the street from Bailey's.

If you went to Bailey's a decent bit, the employees would give you extra fingers or whatever once they got used to you because there were only a few workers (it was double drive-thru with seating only outside). And Tiger Weekly Magazine used to have $1 coupons, so you could just grab about 20 magazines and get continuous 5-8 finger boxes (depending on how much extra crap they thew in) for 3 dollars and change. It was the best deal around even without the extras (no wonder they didn't last, but they were around for a number of years).

Can't wait til Zaxbys gets here

Not that they taste better but maybe some competition will make Canes get back to what they used to be

I have to say though, Canes has excellent customer service and they are very consistent with their product. You used to get more obviously, but other than that, they're consistent.
