One of my (lesser) clients still uses an aol email address as their business address. The business has a staff of about 20, and there are no individual addresses. All email correspondence with them is supposed to go thru the aol address, then the secretary will print the email and deliver it to to person. Some of them just use their own personal address to avoid the process.

I have one, it's the email I put in when I order online and don't want to get bombarded with spam. I go clear the inbox out once a month.

I work in construction with sub-contractors all the time and you would be surprised just how many aol, hotmail, and compuserve, hrcoxmail emails are out there.

I know someone with one. He gets my emails. He responds to them. I don't see the issue.

I had friends call me and say my aol account was sending them a virus. I had not used for 10 years or so. Tried to delete email, AOL makes it very difficult to delete . They charge advertisers by the number of users. I just deleted each contact.
