Warning! I was driving with my wife and daughter to Baton Rouge 2 weeks ago. They talked me into taking them to the casino. The speed limit goes back and forth from 60 to 70 and their are signs posted warning you about drive 60 for the next so many miles. I get past the construction zones after the Walker exit and when the interstate goes to the extra lane, I move over to allow merging traffic to enter. As soon as I hit the third lane, there was a state trooper standing behind his car. He never lifted the gun. He just waved me over. He wrote me a ticket for going 77 in a 60. I told him that I was past the construction zone but he said that he wasn't writing the ticket for that. I told him to point his gun at the traffic because I was traveling at the same speed as everyone else. He said, I know, they are all speeding. He said that it is 60 all the way to the bridge. I only make the trip a few times a year. Just stay out of that outside lane.

I rolling roadblock the left lane anytime someone tries to pass me while I'm going 76-77. There is no reason to go any faster.
