If you win tomorrow's powerball jackpot, you'd need 433 CD's

In order to have it all insured by the FDIC, you'd need 433 CD's of $250,000 each with separate banks.
You'd earn $139,824 a MONTH on those CDs assuming a 1.55% rate found on bankrate.com.

This all assumes Louisiana taxes are taken off the top of a single jackpot winning ticket.

That's a lot of OTing one could do.

Or just throw it all in the stock market and go for a wild ride!

That's assuming you put the money in a poor people's bank.

You say that now but you know damn well you'd piss that shite away on women and toys for at least 5 years before calming down a bit.

What's the point of winning the powerball then? You trying to save money so your future generations of freeloaders can waste their lives away on your winnings?

I was thinking the same thing. Me and my wife make a good bit more than that now. I'm not winning the lottery and taking a step back.

I'd only need 217 accounts. I trust my wife.

Of course I wouldn't worry about my bank failing and most would be in mutual funds and stocks anyway

We aren't here for a long time, just a good time. When it's all over, all you have are the memories. I'm gonna make some damn good ones.
