The appearance of the robot would determine how I would live my life. Does the robot look like a human?

only if the robot had pleasure centers like ex machina. otherwise, i'd have to become a good person or whatever and not rely on all the gratification i get from not only the hunt for sex and drugs but also the actual doing of the sex and drugs.

then again, if i'm an old man and don't really care about all that, maybe so. in that case, it would depend on if i liked the current state of the world and where it was heading if i wanted to stick around and watch it.

without being able to physically touch or feel the ones you love it doesn't seem worth it.
