I've been trying to sell this to Chicken for almost 2 years now.

They just are afraid to do anything that could screw things up, I guess.

From a business/monetization perspective, it's all about attention. I turn to TD instantly when I see a big play, breaking news, an injury, or am watching any big game. That's the problem though, I find it, not vice versa. With a Facebook, YouTube, Podcast, blog, etc., TD could literally be my one stop shop like Barstool is. It should hit me in the face with that kind of news, I shouldn't have to look for it.

I said years ago TD should hire a full time recruiting guy and jump into the recruiting business. Even if it remained free, if they published articles like Nola.com does with Jimmy smith, it would draw a ton more clicks to this site

20+ years in radio, I'd love to be one of the podcast hosts for an LSU sports site

Would that include the Chicken persona? You know, like there used to be a real Colonel Sanders with KFC, later replaced by actors. Would an acquiring entity bring in their own guy and try to get the audience to accept him?

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I seriously doubt anyone would pay $1.6m for a message board.

Cmon man, use your head.

Why was it good four years ago and not now? The poli board is going to be great for the next 4-8 years and that's a fact.
