There's a negligible risk increase.

Where you get severe mutations like the Habsbugs and the Royal lines is when there's too much inbreeding.

With larger populations today and more mobility, there's less risk.

Look, I'm not saying to go marry your cousin. But to pretend there's any significant danger in legal, of age, consensual Cousin marriage is just silly, especially when they have been so nonchalant with marriage in the last decade.
