If you won the lottery, would you stay in Louisiana? Is there enough infrastructure and things to do here to keep you from going to California or New York?

Would Louisiana suffer a Money drain as it does brain drain?

If I won an insane amount of money, like one of the $300M powerballs or something, I would keep a place in LA because this is home and I have family here, but I would likely spend most of my time traveling elsewhere.

You wouldn't need your in-laws' money.

I'd buy your mother a nice seafood dinner and never call her again

I'd have cribs elsewhere--NYC, Jackson Hole, a bunker in an undisclosed location. But I am a southerner and my roots are here. This will always be my home.

Would probably keep a house here but would definitely not spend most of my time in LA. Definitely wouldn't live in NY or California either. Too many libtards

I'd keep my primary residence here for tax purposes. I'd spend most of my time in the Pebble Beach area or skiing in the mountains.

My kids would be educated elsewhere but you can bet your happy arse I'd have a camp in Grand Isle, a camp on Toledo Bend, condo in Vegas and a condo somewhere in the Carribean. I'd also have a stable of boats.

I wouldn't live anywhere per se. I would stay places for a while and relocate every couple of months or so. N.Y. for a while, then San Fran, then San Diego, then Europe, then Japan and so on

I would intend to stay in Louisiana.

That would change if I had people chasing after money to where I couldn't get a moment of peace.

I wouldn't want to change much but I have a feeling money will change things for me just by putting a target on my arse.

Nope. I'm moving to Houston.

Would probably keep an apartment in New Orleans though if I had THAT much money.

I'd buy two camps in Louisiana and a house in Colorado.. spend most of summer and a few weeks of winter up north and bounce around my camps and home in BR.

And also world class breweries, thousands of wineries, fantastic national parks, and all sorts of things to do other than commiserate with the hipsters and liberals.

I certainly wouldn't live there primarily.

I'd stay here in Dallas, myself. I'd buy a lake house somewhere in South Louisiana. I'd also have a condo in BR and New Orleans for football season.

Louisiana is my home. I would move back, get a house on the water (45 min boat ride to the gulf) , and enjoy life.

I live in Texas because I have to, not because I want to

I'd buy a house and a lot of land in Montana.
