If you could have picked your own birth year.. What would it have been?

I'd have to pick some time in the future. Space travel > revisiting things in the past

1926 instead of 1976

I was born 50 years too late.
I like those days better, I'd be 90.

probably around same as Jesus if I could pick location near him.

Would have been nice to grow up in the 50's.

but growing up in the 80's and 90's was good, too.

Wish the internet had been ubiquitous then.

Late 40s

I'd grow up in the 50s and then spend my young adult life traveling the country doing acid at music shows in the 60s when the music was good

1956.

Why?

I'd be:
15, young, stupid, and in high school when Sticky Fingers, Zeppelin IV and Who's Next, Meddle, and Allman Bros Live at Fillmore East, Hunky Dory, ZZ Top, BB King Live from Cook, came out. (1971 makes a strong case for best year ever for music)

17 when Dark Side came out
18 when Rush came out
19 for Wish You Were Here
21 for Animals
22 for Some Girls and Van Halen

You get the point.

Being in highschool and college during that time, seeing the concerts, hearing the music for the first time with everyone when it came out, waiting days in line to buy new albums at the pinnacle of rock. That would be amazing. Absolutely amazing.

1969. The 80's would have been an awesome time to be a teen. I was born in 76 and was too young to participate in most things.
