Not sure what you're talking about here. The school calls the number they assign each kid their "PIN".

Well, considering nothing in life is free or should be free, I would contribute jackshit to any welfare....in a perfect world of course.

I have no problem contributing to temporary assistance, no matter the situation. However, the key word there is TEMPORARY.

Temporary is 5 years for some people. How do you define temporary?

Temporary being no more than 1 year. If you can't turn things around in 365 days then you have literally failed 365 out of 365 times and just continuing to invest more money into you is obviously not the answer. Maybe the whole they need to be "hungry" thing might do them some good.

All kids in the school district my kids attend receive free lunch. My family would not qualify otherwise, so we appreciate the savings.
