I always understood why people who are critical of the Fed/central banking and the digitized printing press gravitated toward hard assets/gold. Yet now, a lot of those people have moved to something even less secure and more abstract than what they were trying to get away from. It's created an interesting division in the alt economic blog world.

Quite a few years ago. And I think he actually said $20,000 if I remember right. Someone from MT help me here.

I honestly think it's a lack of anything that isn't controlled by .gov that attracts attention. And probably for good reasons. We know the Fed manipulates currency via policy/regulations. BUT the majority of people hope they do it in conjunction with Fiscal Policy to help the overall economy. We like living in our little bubbles and don't like the boat to get rocked. There are a lot of skeptics who believe it's done to make unnamed bankers/Wall Street/Politician types incredibly rich.

It's too similar to BTC to be overly excited about and it's not as technologically sophisticated as ETH.

It pumped when coinbase adopted it by I'd careful holding as any type of investment

Bitcoin is a bubble at this point, and will lose a lot of greedy people in this world a ton of money. The smart ones will cash out and keep their money in a stable world currency backed by regulations & government, supported by a real economy and real companies.

Bitcoin is a get rich scheme intended for criminals/lowlifes, aka people who don't want to really work and earn wages for a living.

its fruitless to debate the merits of the coin (cyrpto) when evidence being presented to the opponent is continually ignored.

as far as discussing what ETH is - im assuming you know how to google?

here is a FAQ just in case LINK

Are you trading these coins or are you keeping these coins for future use? If you are keeping for later, what do you plan to use them on?

I liquidated 75% of my supply yesterday.
I trade the rest for now, constantly evaluating the market. I can not predict what I'll do with them in the future, I don't think we can honestly say at this moment the true value of any coin, hence the current volatility

There's too much ignorance in your post for a well rounded response. If you're doing well then continue your journey in the blistfull ignorance you're living in. Let us lowlifes have fun.

Indeed. I mean the big banks are interested in the tech for a reason. It'll be interesting to see if they completely adopt into it or go thier own way.

Thank you! That is the point I have been trying to make for however many pages we are at now. Wiki would never advise this, he actually believes in the science and technology behind it. Just look through this thread, many people are seeing some people making money and asking how they can buy with no clue what they are buying into it, with the exception of SFP who seems to be buying them for future use. Everyone else is looking to get rich quick. A fool and his money...

Not really. I'm sitting on it long term and the people I know that are in it are also doing the same. Eth is in it's infancy stage so it's a long term thing right now for anyone that's paying attention.
