If there was a real life Purge and you were homeless would you

Get yourself arrested on purpose for something public intox, public urinaton, or 311 to avoid being out in the street for 24-72 hours?
Seems like the smartest thing to do in that situation instead of basically offering yourself as "tribute"

But in a purge where murder is legal obviously, why would public intoxication or petty crime or any other crime for that matter be illegal at that time?
Eta: I'd prob use that opportunity to kill someone who has a house so I'd no longer be homeless.

But anyways, yeah. I'd save a portion of my homeless money on a go-bag. Survival pack. Walk torwards the deep woods. Safer there, even if you did encounter others..more than likely it would be less than anywhere else and you could be provided with cover.
That's if I were on the defensive.
Otherwise I'd murder and Rob so many people, I wouldn't be homeless afterwards. Or die trying. There would really be nothing to lose.

Coming to say this. Seems like jails and prisons would be the first targets of the Purge. Probably by the police if you think about it.
