Companies will still have that right even if it's legal. I imagine anyone working on an oil rig, chemical plant, refinery, railroad, or any other jobs where dangers lie every given day won't stop doing so.
If someone gets hurt on the job and was high at the time these companies insurance rates will go up due to that.
A lot of jobs that do an initial test will slowly phase those tests out IMO. The ones where giving a test is laughable to begin with.
Does your job have randoms for alcohol?
If they suspect they can. I have no randoms per say.
I know a guy who works for the railroad in NOLA and he had to call in last year after the LSU/Ole piss game because he said they get tested all the time for alcohol.
