How soon will you go back to restaurants, movie theaters, church, etc...? Anything you will still avoid for a while?

Going to eat at a restaurant and see a movie and go to a bar and pass out at church within a 12 hour period.

Nope.

Box office receipts for the last week of March were $5k. Not a typo. Not five million. Five thousand dollars.

This is an $11 billion a year industry. Just. Gone. With no idea when it will recover. And it's only one industry.

That's just stunning. Can't wait to get some popcorn and watch a movie.

I agree...I do wonder though even if government shut downs are lifted, how soon the public will feel safe to go about normal life especially if cases and deaths continue to rise. I hope this isnt the case....but we may have to face a choice between losing hundreds of thousands of people or more vs absolutely destroying our economy. How would our leaders communicate that it's important to conduct business and get out of your house after freaking everyone the frick out and telling them to stay home for months.

And completely give up handshaking. It is now and always has been a filthy, disease spreading custom that needs to go.

I'd do things now if I could!
Zero fear of the Rona.
I'm healthy. Take care of myself. Wash hands, not a nasty motherfricker.

Everything ain’t opening by the end of this month. But when it does many people will be scared, many will not have the financial means to do so, and many places will be out of business. This is going to do long term damage to the economy.

I think I'll stick to strictly egging people's houses for the next decade. It won't feel right for a long time to wrap somebody's crib in TP.
