A German Shepherd is basically a wolf. It will be fine on its own.
It will come back to the owner's door in a few week even more jacked and powerful ... ready to annihilate any burglars.

What is quite some time? Is the dog chipped or have a collar? They have a local Shepard rescue group that it might have been turned in to.

No, from a home very close to the park
The OT Lounge can track down pretty much anything. I figured somebody can find this dog. There are very few black German Shepherds around.

The dog is chipped, I believe. They have looked everywhere over the last month+. Somebody has to have her. No vet or shelter has picked her up.
May have been seen downtown or in the Flannery area, but no real leads.

Parents had a german shepherd a long time ago that wandered from Columbus MS to Macon MS which is roughly 30 miles.

Use to hook up with this crazy girl with a Black Shepard near there. The last time I saw her, I was taking a shower at her place and she was out of soap, I get out of the shower(leaving the water running) and walked out to get some and she was there beating her dog off(like fingering her). I was like WTF and just put my clothes on and left. fricked up chick, Marie something.

Is it really black or is that just the hair color? What if you shaved the hair off? Aren't we all really just the same, aren't dogs just the same, regardless of skin or hair color?

I just got lucky as hell today with my dog. My phone broke Saturday, and I'm waiting for a new one. Apparently my door was half-assed closed. We have terrible gusts coming off the Rockies where I live. While nobody was home, the door blew open, and my dog ran off. I live near a very busy road, and she was loose for 3-4 hours.
Luckily, as I drove around the block, about to give up and go make signs, I saw a family with her on a leash in front of their house. Apparently they had a couple of dogs, and mine decided to introduce herself. With no phone, I'd have have been screwed for a couple of days, possibly much worse if she didn't know how to get to the park near my house, and always goes in that direction when she gets loose.
Good luck with the Shepard. I know I wouldn't be able to sleep right if mine stayed lost.
