you should see the money they steal from the school budget in NOLA alone. Deray is a small timer in Louisiana...it's not good when your state stands out as the pinnacle of government corruption and thievery

JBE in just a few short months has managed to make Blanco look competent and Roemer's 1st term as Governor look effective.
He has become the worst governor in the last 100 years in Louisiana.

I don't know where they met, but JBE meeting with deray (even with Obama there) is JBE giving him credibility by virtue of the office that he holds and who he represents.

I think it was a general meeting of many parties arranged by the White House. JBE never "hosted" Deray as far as I know.

It was a poor choice of words.
They were invited by the White House to a mutual meeting that also included members of the LE community. So, by using your line of thinking, the cops also "hosted" Deray.

Deray is the one seeking the audience so to me, that's hosting or a more precise word would be "entertaining" or "granting an audience"

Correct. It was the White House who hosted him. This was, at least, the second time he's been there (Deray). I bet Corporal Montrell Jackson never got a White House invite before he tragically passed.

the argument has nothing to do with where they met
it has to do with JBE being the bigger fish of the two and meeting with him gives him the credibility of the governors office when viewed by his constituents...a week later, some motherfricker agitated by the rhetoric of deray (maybe not him specifically, but the same rhetoric) and shoots up a bunch of his cops...that cannot be good in the eyes of his constituents.
