It really is a great deal for husbands. Take your wife and let her buy a Louis purse for $75 that nobody can tell is fake unless you tell them

Women like buying the fakes 
It's been over 10 years since I was in NYC and even then I had several friends tell me they have lots of decent quality fakes there. I even saw Elizabeth Berkley (Jesse from saved by the bell) standing right next to me looking at fake designer bags in Times Square my last time there (2002).

It is the one place where the fakes are legit. Now to get the good ones it is pretty sketchy. You usually have to follow them into the back of a restaurant
