My Aussie is not a barker but if someone tossed firecrackers at her, it would be her life goal to wear him out.
Some dogs seek revenge when you f with them, especially some herding dogs. They are bred to take a kick from a cow/horse and be able to get up and get right back to work. So, if you kick them or otherwise f with them, they want to get up and get you.

My Aussie isn't a barker either, but if he was I wouldn't leave him outside to annoy the piss out of the neighbors

Years and years ago I had a similar problem and a very similar solution. But when I tossed the twisted lady fingers at her they landed right in the bowl of antifreeze. Put the firecrackers right out. I guess they scared her enough, though, because I didn't see her again.

If you live so close to a barking dog that it annoys you, maybe its time to move on some acreage and not a small lot.

Barking dogs are no different than me firing my lawn mower or dirt bike up at any hour I feel like it. Neighbors that let their dogs bark constantly are the ultimate inconsiderate (and trashy) fricks.

That goes for idiots who house a barking dog in a cookie-cutter neighborhood with 100 neighbors within shouting distance and retards cranking their Crystal Gale mix-tape in an apartment complex.
