He had it listed on Facebook on one of those buy, sell, trade sites. I knew it was mine as soon as I saw it posted because I recognized the scratch on the stock that I had put on there.

Unfortunately this is one of two of my guns that I didn't have the serial numbers on. Police told me I was SOL if I didn't have solid proof that I was the owner.

Seller said he's owned the gun since he was a kid when I called asking him about it.

What would you have done?

Why didn't you have the serial number on it?

I would have agreed to meet him to buy, walked to my vehicle and left. With my gun. You fricked up by confronting him.

Purchase gun back. Shoot seller. Take back money. Go to jail.

When keeping it real goes wrong.

What could go wrong with stealing a gun from a guy that steals guns?

So there's no serial number and the only proof you have its yours is a scratch on it?

Your case is weak bruh

What's he gonna do? Call the police about getting the stolen gun back?

Just figured I had the number to all of them but after looking at where I have all of that written down. It wasn't written down.

Your case went from awesome to nothing in a heartbeat. You lost that gun because you didn't have the serial #. I have all of mine in 2 places.

When and where did you buy said gun? Maybe the place you bought it from has record of the serial #?

Surely you didn't own the only gun of its kind that has a scratch on it.

The scratch I put on it is the first letter of my last name. I got the gun when I was 10
