I resent that white people made it not ok to say "white people problems"

and changed it to "first world problems".
I'm white, and I happen to love making fun of white people. I especially enjoy making fun of boring arse white people who have faced no adversity in their life and bitch about things that don't matter.
That was the entire purpose of the phrase "white people problems". Not to mention there are plenty of people living in poverty with real problems within first world countries, especially this one, so it doesn't even make sense.
How did politically correct white people make it not ok to make fun of white people?

In their defense, minorities in the US are in a lot better shape than most white people in Moldova.

Actually, it was other races and SJWs that made it a problem because it implied that only whites had those problems and other races didn't have those problems or weren't good enough.
"1st World Problems" includes all races.
Blame SJWs and the PC crowd for that one.
They've already started saying that "first world problems" isn't PC, so get used to some other stupidity from those chodes soon enough.
