I'm looking for a good tattoo artist in the BR area. Or NOLA if you know one. Looking for someone who can take what i'm describing and draw it out. Turn a vision into reality.

The last tattoo i got, the "artist" really couldn't draw and i ended up picking from a book of things he could do. Basically, he was a good tracer.

I don't regret the tattoo b/c i got something that is personal to me, but i'd like more options on the next one.

TIA - let the "tattoos are trashy" post commence

Who knew tribal armbands were that difficult.

lucky that book had something personal to you in it.

You paid a guy, who couldn't draw, to draw on you. Forever. I have no doubt you'll make a good decision this go around. You've already done the right thing by using an internet message board to help you make your choice.

i was able to find something that i was willing to live with. No, it wasn't what i imagined in my head, but then again, i don't know if what i imagined was doable. I made a choice and chose something i could live with. Thanks for your opinion, Mr. Internet Badass

What are you looking to get? I will actually provide help, unlike 90% of the posts in here. Just need to know what you are looking for first.

Salvador Dali clock type...have that melted look to follow the contours of trap/shoulder/collarbone. My dad died in December, so i'm thinking about incorporating something with him into it. Just looking to talk something out with someone who can see it and put it on paper.

Maybe an end of watch type of design since he was a firefighter.

Ok cool-

In BR, look up Richard Hart and Trevon Spillman
I have gone to New Orleans a few times, Randy Muller is the artist. He is the best in the state by far. The others in his shop are great as well. I don't know many other artists in NO, though.

See if you can find where Micro is currently working. He is the best in Baton Rouge.
