If she has no idea what watch to buy she should not spend $500 on one. If he told here that is a cool watch and she buys it that would be different. There are so many different styles there is a good chance he will not particularly like it but feel obligated to wear it.

For the maratac pilot guys are you getting the mid or large? I'm unsure about the 46mm case.
