Just finished Walter Isaacson's The Innovators. Nice listen.

Just finished Malcolm Gladwell's David and Goliath.

I have all of both of the above.

Need some new ones. Anyone? Kafka?

Currently in print I am reading:

Common Sense by Thomas Paine

Gaining Ground, Forrest Pritchard

Ike's Bluff, Evan Thomas

Killing Patton, O'Reilly.

I do both douchebag and since I spend a considerably amount of time driving I enjoy listening to others.

Go back to the Cat in the Hat.

Just finished Millionaire Next Door by Thomas Stanley on audiobook, it was pretty good.

Listened to Delivering Happiness last week and it wasn't bad, but I liked Millionaire better.

If you're into historical fiction at all, I enjoyed the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian.

Not an audiobook but I am currently hooked on the Serial podcast that I listen to on the tunein radio app.

You should give it a listen.

I've been reading and hearing about this. Think I'll give it a try.

Is it a Dave Ramsey preachy kind?

One I did listen to was Pound Foolish. You might like it. Takes Suze Ormann and Dave Ramsey as well as a few others to task.

Based on the books you're actively reading at the moment... check out Anything from Thomas Friedman (Lexus and the Olive Tree, Longitudes & Attitudes, The World if Flat)

or Thomas M.P. Barnett (The Pentagon's New Map) <-- awesome book about global politics

I just finished Killing Patton on audiobook. If you like it, try Killing Lincoln or Killing Kennedy. O'Reilly does a good job with the narration.

I also just finished Operation Paperclip which was the introduction of the German scientist into America after WWII. A great read.

I'm looking at Olive Tree now.

Have you read "The Wizards of Langley" about the formation of the CIA?

Pretty interesting read.

My father gave me that a few years ago. Great read and he gave everyone he knew that book. I'm glad to see someone else read it because whenever I'd mention it no one knew what the hell I was talking about.

I am a subscriber to Stratfor and a big George Friedman fan. He was at LSU for a bit before Texas.

The Pentagon's New Map and The Wizards of Langley aren't on audio.

I'll buy them though. I always keep three or so books going at one time. Just depends on my mood. In addition to the ones posted I'm reading a David Sedaris and have Jim Gaffigan's Dad is Fat on audio.

So I can keep it light too. Good for the head.

It's kind of silly with a political theme but I enjoyed Alice in blunderland on audiobook years ago while on the road a lot.
