My feet are slowly becoming bad news. Pretty bad bunions (no pics) on both of them and getting worse. Collapsing arches, bone spurs and just general back pain are leading me to believe that this is my major problem.
I used to be a runner but suffering through posterior tibial tendinitis on both feet has officially sidelined me. And it really sucks because I enjoyed it a good bit. Now just walking jacks me up.
It's time to get started on some major rebuilds. From doing research, I'm aware that there's some pretty extensive rehab involved in it post op, but I don't know what else to do. It's a mess and it's not getting any better. I know there's some horror stories about shitty surgeons who can make this kind of stuff worse so just thought I'd bring it to the OT.
Do any of you have any suggestions? Or know anyone who went through it and came out on the better side of it?

Where you at?
In BR. But if there's a badass surgeon in NO, I don't mind the drive. I've been pretty hesitant to consider it due to the chances they'd mess me up.

I don't always need medical advice, but when I do I turn to the internet.

He was the library detective, NOT the librarian. Idiot.

Google'd this up for you:
Dr. J. Kemp Tullier
There are others you can look up as well. I hope your situation gets better!

The Halls in Baton Rouge are good. Father and son podiatrists who work with Bone and Joint clinic of BR.
I'm a podiatrist, and they do good work.
