What kind of project is it?

used Lawrence Design on perkins for a considerable addition to the house. Great work.

I need to take a plot of a cemetery that is drawn on huge paper and redo it digital or otherwise.

should be relatively easy for someone to take care of for you.

is it surveyed?

I believe it is. I need to somehow incorporate who owns the individual plots and who is buried where.

So you have measurements on the current map for all boundaries and plots?

Individual plots are not surveyed if I remember right. Well one part is, one part isn't.

So you just want it digitized or do you want information attached with the plots? I only ask because I created a gis program for a church cemetery that has all of the death/burial information and can create new deeds. I'm not interested in doing it again unless it's a real small cemetery but I was just curious how in depth you wanted to go.

This is the burning question. None of us would own a program to be able to pull the information up or update it. I'm in need of someone to tell me how best to accomplish this. It's a very small cemetery.

Draw it in autocad
Create a PDF
Edit it with a PDF editor, my first choice is Blue Beam then Adobe.

This is why I need someone. I can't do any of that. Like none. I can make this a paying gig if it's needed.

Going the pdf route still means you need to purchase a program in order to have information attached to the plots. While I agree bluebeam is better than adobe it's still just as expensive and would have to be purchased for each device that accesses the pdf.

If I knew how, I could get my gis program on a web server so no program would be required, but I was barely able to do what I did. Also, not knowing how involved it would be I have no way of knowing just how expensive it could be.

Is this strictly for existing information or will new plots be added? If only existing I'd just get someone to draft it, make the map big enough to drop all the info you need inside the plot rectangles and create a pdf. It should be OCR capable so you can search for last names in a free pdf viewer.
