This is the kind of crap that pisses me off.
A walk-in clinic is NO place for SOB. They aren't equipped for that type of emergency 9 times out of 10.

It’s not their fault you’re broke and have no insurance. You think they should eat the cost of your problems?

Get insurance. Apply for Medicaid it’s simple. If you don’t qualify for Medicaid get your arse to work and pay for health insurance.

News flash: no one cares about your condition. Life is tough. Nut up

I would like to believe a nurse can recognize the signs of shortness of breath and hypoxia.

At the minimum they should have offered to call 911.

I was not thinking clearly, but frick me for having an asthma attack.

frick y’all counts

If there is such a privilege, it does not require a private practitioner to provide free care.

So, you know you went to the wrong place, but you were hoping the nurse would call 911 for you?

Good Lord, I pray for idiots out there.

I went to the closet place with a breathing treatment and inhaler refill.

The closest place with nurses and doctors.

Stupid me.

Leaving home without a phone.

Air hunger, panic.

Why didn’t you call 911?

Why are you uninsured?

If you had walked in drunk without the cash to pay for services, and you walked out and got in your car and drove, should they be responsible for your choice to drive?

You drove while in a condition which prevented you from driving safely. They didn’t create the condition. When the receptionist says you appeared fine and not in need of emergency medical services, you’re going to say that you both weren’t thinking clearly but can clearly describe the specific symptoms that you think give rise to an obligation for a receptionist to make a medical diagnosis and/or call 911?
