I was just about to post almost this exact same thing. I consider cornbread, greens, fried chicken, etc more southern food than "black" food. And its' frickin delicious.

Exactly - Fried Chicken, watermelon, and corn bread, that's southern food all the way. I guess they don't know this in the West.

It's awesome to me that Californians view Alabamans as racist rednecks (I don't deny it) and they create examples of racism that would be so obvious here.
