I found my safe space @ LSU

18 years after leaving LSU, I returned Monday. In my first class, my professor let us know, via syllabus that her gender pronouns were she & her and if I wanted to use something other than the traditional ones for myself to let her know. She also let us know that we should feel safe in her classroom & if talking about certain things triggered us, let her know.
The syllabus also confirmed that discrimination against classmates because of race, gender indentification, sexual orientation, religion or ethnicity would not be tolerated. I raised my hand & asked why age wasn't listed...she wasn't amused
WTF? I know she had to notice the look on my face, lol
