Everyone coming back from vacation. At least you made it past the tunnel.

That's what happens when you leave late on Labor Day. Add 1-2 hours to your normal trip.

my gf is coming back from Destin and told me about it. She said there was a horrible accident they passed that had been stopping up everything.

I pulled out of the condo in Orange Beach at 7:45 am and was home at noon after a breakfast stop, then grocery store run, then Madisonville Bridge for 20 minutes.

We left Orange Beach at 1:45 but took the beach express to 104 then 98 to the Bankhead Tunnel. Got to family's house in Mobile by 3:00.

Welcome to I-10. I see you're new here. Let me introduce you to everyone. Right here is the god-forsaken tunnel people can't drive in. Right over here is the Bama/MS line with a couple bridges that cause people to lose their mind. And just over here is I-12. No one really likes him, but we're forced to hang out with him anyways.

after you survive the tunnel, get off at the Tillmans corner exit and take 90 as far as your can.

I-10 to the AL/MS line is good. Another slowdown just past Franklin Creek Rd so get off there and take 90 to Pascagoula

Made it home from Orange Beach in 4 hours today. Used google maps to redirect me and it worked fine. Only traffic was around Slidell.

Always like this. Actually even during the week. The stretch from exit 50 to exit 57 in ms you can better believe it will be stand still traffic at least 3 times a week either way.
