Just past that small bridge? I saw them this morning and last week. One of the cops this AM just about got hit when he jumped out in the lane to flag someone down.

I have been putting together a pretty expansive spreadsheet tracking my drive to NOLA every morning. Once I hit about 150 days on it I'll post my findings. So far they are very interesting.

For all the folks with 32:63 on their ticket, did you ever read the statute?
It essentially says after LADOT does a engineering traffic study, they can set the speed limit.
I once got a ticket in Baton Rouge while they were still doing construction. Got popped right by bluebonnet on i10. It was a scam. About 5 state trooper cars one running the gun and 4 writing tickets. I wasn't going anywhere near as fast as he said.
But.. I did look up 32:63. Then I called LADOT and asked for the engineering study for that stretch of road. Guess what, they didn't have it. They turned all the documentation over to the engineering firm doing the construction project.
So.... I called the LADOT sign shop to ask who put up the signs. The manager of the sign shop said "we didn't do it, the construction company put those up".
I went to the clerk of court where the engineering study was supposed to be on file. Guess what, speed limit was still 70.
I went to court and got the ticket dropped. But not before the ADA tried to BS me. She said " oh you're wrong what ever posted is the speed limit". I said "awesome, thanks. I'm going to post some 100 mph speed limit signs. That will be legal right?" She then tried to get me to accept a non moving violation. I said no. Then she dismissed it altogether.
I know, that was a lot of effort for a single ticket but, I HATE TO LOSE.
