Probably right. I've had a opossum playing possum for awhile now in my pool. Just waiting for him to finally give in and move.

probably no hurt, even though it's hissing, and will bare its teeth, possums will almost never put up a fight, bring the dogs in, leave it alone, and it will probably go away

Stuff happens right? We had a bullfrog that used get in there every night and take a swim. I like to let nature enjoy a swim every now and then. Sometimes nature doesn't swim too well.
