**Reach out to Cajun Navy, Texas Navy, or local government sources before heading to TX with your boat. Some are being turned away or told to hold. People without a motor on their boat (e.g. canoes, kayaks, etc.) are advised to not come yet due to current conditions. Check for curfews.**

Ascension parish donations can be dropped off at the Lamar Dixon expo center from 9 am - 4 pm daily. They are accepting basically everything EXCEPT clothes.

True, but there's also the alternative of avoiding the loss of life of a woman and two young children




I'm not sure how anyone can pull off a hoax like this.. how could you sit there and listen to all of this with a smile on your face knowing you're locking up all these people who are trying to rescue others who need it?


I'll be honest - I completely bought her story, she sounded genuinely scared and desperate... still could possibly be legit I guess
