Travel is fully restricted and limited to the local area

Please tell me your not an officer

Travel restricted for those doing PCS moves and TDY. "Local area" means about a 4-hour radius and it sure as hell isn't enforced or enforceable. It doesn't stop a lot of DoD civilians, techs, Reserve or NG members either. Now STFU boot.

Take a step back from your ER. Unless you’re willing to plunge the economy into a Great Depression you should think about the economic impact of martial law.

Q7. Can military members still take leave? A7. Service members may only take leave in the local area. This is being done to limit the spread of and potential exposure to COVID-19. Exceptions may be given for compelling 1 cases where the travel is: (1) determined to be mission essential; (2) necessary for humanitarian reasons; or (3) warranted due to extreme hardship

Thanks for the heads up. Admittedly I hadn't read the memo yet as it just came out tonight from Esper.

If you have guns and someone comes to take them, then shoot them. That's what they're made for.

120 and not full but it was at about 75% occupancy before the Corona hit the fan.

Hopefully. So far we didn’t have any cases to admit today but we administered a ton of tests. If anyone comes in running a fever of 101-102 they get tested.

I learned while you were still an itch in your daddy's balls kid. I also have a shite ton more info and guidance on the scope of this policy across the MACOM's than you have you low-rank midget...

Sad a 21+ year SRNCO or Officer can’t even understand a basic MFR

Should have spent more time in PME

At 21 years you should know who can establish a local leave area

Hell a unit Commander can do it

Understand it? Your brainless little arse doesn't even have a clue unless it is spoonfed to you in a briefing or a PowerPoint with a LOT of pictures.

You should spend less time trying to be an ignorant tryhard and worry how this policy will cut into your time looking for a dependa.

That was never disputed you low-reading-comprehension twerp. What is a fact is that such policies are commonly ignored, just like off-limits lists, and contrary to your opininion, do not fully restrict all DoD personnel travel because there is already a growing list of exemptions. Nothing you'll be aware of until you are told though.

It is what it is.

What I’m telling you is the people fighting this thing on the front lines are going to get overwhelmed at some point. 14 hours today and it was nonstop. I don’t mean we saw a patient every 10-15 minutes and took an hour lunch and all that jazz. It was patient after patient after patient. Overtime is openly approved and people are already turning it down. That’s not something that ever happens at a federal hospital.

When I left I tried to give the next group a heads up of what to expect and we had to cut the briefing short because the waiting room was completely overrun. I’ve never seen anything like this before and I was here for H1N1 and West Nile.

Dude

A real economic depression is far more worrisome than us not being able to test because of runny nose

It’s not even close if you think about it.

Sad someone in leadership is an idiot

Classic toxic leadership that thinks their rank makes them right at all times.
