Kids have been sent home for wearing Confederate flag t-shirts, which i'm sure in some way was "meaningful" to them...so there you go ignorant child. (the child in the article, not any poster) In case i needed to specify..

If no one ever drew attention to it then we would still be stuck in the pre-civil rights era with everyone's head in the sand. I get that as white people we feel best when race isn't brought up, but there are occasions where the conversation is needed...high school t-shirts shouldn't be one of them though. We all had to abide by a dress code and BLM is without a doubt controversial. If it was just about black lives mattering, there wouldn't be an issue

because she's black, i don't have a problem with it. if people get worked up over that kind of stuff it's their problem

now a white with that t-shirt is definitely attention-whoring...
