My shitty neighbor had a pit that was chained in the front yard all the time. The dog was very sweet - I heard they tried to get it to fight and it wouldn't.
My other neighbor found the dog dead in her front yard - heartworm infestation the suspicion.
They never took the dog to the vet one time.
Hopefully, they won't get another dog. They had a Chihuahua that another neighbor now owns - because it hurt its leg and they wouldn't take it to the vet.
