How often do you upgrade your golf clubs?

I've had a set of Ping G20 Irons for about 2 years now (bought them used). I have relatively new RBZ woods and driver. Just got a new Ping putter. My wedges are my oldest clubs. I've got two Calloways and a Cleveland. The Cleveland is a sand wedge and only a few years old but I couldn't tell how how old the Calloways are.

I'm actually playing regularly this year and my scores are showing it. I just don't know when/if it will be worth it to "upgrade" to the point where it would make any difference.

I'm gonna hit AP2 712's a few more years. That'll make 5 prolly.

Drivers get rotated out a little more, same with 3 woods and hybrids.

I upgrade clubs when someone gives me their old ones... So far that is once every 10 or so years

I've tried upgrading twice but ended up going back to my ping I-3s both times.

I'm usually forced to upgrade when I throw my old set into the lake.

I'll probably never change my putter, and keep my wedges for a long time.

When the grooves start to wear down.

Irons probably every 5-6 years, wedges 2-3, Driver 3-4 depending on if what's out will improve my control.

They won't let you switch them out during the round, but basically after every round I get a whole new set. Burn the used ones because I don't want poors getting a good deal

I will might get the 716 ap2 irons when they come out. Have 712s now. Probably will get a driver in the next 2 years also. 913 titleist. Bought my putter I plan to have for many many years a couple months ago. Counter balanced golo.

I have kids, a house, a boat and four cars, plus pets. Taking care of the needs of those means clubs are last on my list when I can already predict that I'll beat most people I play with irons and woods I've had for 13 years.

My dad was always a great putter, and he rotates through four putters. If I could afford to, I would go with that strategy.
